BoatNow operates an online marketplace and booking platform connecting customers with independent boat owners and rental providers. BoatNow does not own the boats listed on the platform; each boat is offered and operated by its respective owner or rental provider.
By using BoatNow you agree to the terms below. These terms may be updated occasionally — the current version always lives at this URL.
Bookings
Bookings are a contract between you and the boat owner. BoatNow operates the marketplace and facilitates payment processing through Stripe.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds follow the cancellation policy shown on each boat listing.
If you are signed in, Stripe's payment page may offer you an optional checkbox to save your payment method for future BoatNow bookings. Saving is entirely your choice: your card and wallet details are held by Stripe, never by BoatNow, and you can remove a saved payment method at any time from Stripe's payment page the next time you book. Card security checks such as 3-D Secure are always handled by Stripe.
Conduct on board
You agree to follow the captain's instructions and all applicable maritime laws. Owners may end a trip early for safety reasons without refund.
Liability
BoatNow's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the booking. Owners carry the insurance required by law.
